HEY VERN...!!!

There is a good friend of mine out there who actually answers to the name of Vern. A patient man who is always full of life. Thoughtful and willing to help if one needed it. Active in the life of his family and who knows someone from most parts of the globe. I met him several years ago and was taken at the interest he had in his two girls and noticed that the whole family while they worked hard always had a smile and a cheerful hello. This has rubbed off on their children and I am sure has rubbed off to others as well.

With a bit of a gruff exterior I have seen his eyes beem in pride when he talks of his family, when he sees his youngest do her thing on the wing of an aircraft, when he speaks of her his pride shows and yet his cheeks redden when she snaps a wisecrack back at him. Vern... she learned from you and this fine young woman... I should say these two fine young women will be as loving and as caring as you are.

Vern... I have new entries to add to this slightly dusty blog adventure and they will be coming over the next day or two. This has proven to be an awkwardly busy month and finding the time for Brigitte has been hard enough. Only through her love can I keep on going, and only with the support of wonderful friends like you will I keep on going...
